K10 Depressed Test


K10 Test for Psychological Distress – This depressed test was developed by researchers in Australia in order to measure psychological distress by looking for symptoms and signs of anxiety and depression. In order to get an accurate score, please answer each question truthfully on how you felt and behaved in the last 4 weeks. (Please see our Disclaimer).

Screening test scoring ranges:

Less than 15 = Normal Range
16-30 = Moderate Distress
Over 30 = High Distress

Explanation of Depressed Test Scores:

15 or Lower (Normal Range):
You do not appear to be experiencing high levels of psychological distress associated with depression or anxiety.

16 to 30 (Moderate Distress):
You appear to be experiencing some moderate symptoms of distress. Although many of these are commonly found amongst the general population, the authors of this test recommend that if you have moderate to high distress, it is important to contact your family doctor for further assessment.

Over 30 (High Distress):
You appear to be experiencing a high degree of distress. Although many of these symptoms are commonly found amongst the general population, the authors of this test recommend that if you have moderate to high distress, it is important to contact your family doctor for further assessment.
